Creative Ways to Use Flowers

Tired of using flowers in only floral arrangements? Want to find a new way to bring flowers into the mix?  Why not have a little fun with flowers.  Check out some of my ideas below for some fun and unique ideas!

Accesorize!
Try adding flowers or flower heads as accents to various items such as photo frames or on ablum pages to brighten them up.

Pretty Petals!
Flower petals are a great way to add romance and a splash of color. Use the petals on table tops, dry them for potpourri, even replace the traditional wedding rice and throw beautiful petals instead!

Afloat!
Instead of placing flower stems in a vase, why not use only the blooms and float them! Fill a glass bowl or vase with water and choose your flower to float! Need a little more pizazz? Color your water! Entertaining guests? Add floating flowers to your punch bowl to dazzle them!


Invite!
Make your invitations unique and personal by adding flowers — silk, dried, or pressed. They add color and dimension to the everyday invite.

Hair Wear!
Using a flowers as a decoration piece in your hair will make any do striking. You could use a single large bloom such a colorful lily for a bold statement, or even create a wedding headpiece.

Party On!
Having a party or celebration? Flowers can help acheive the mood you are trying to create. Use flower types and colors that represent your theme. For example, reds, oranges, and yellows can add to a mexican motif. Having a hawaiian luau? String flower heads add make your own leis!

Get Cute!
Adding flowers to your writing utensils or even attaching them to napkin holders are just two more little ways to have some fun with flowers!
