If need be, trim the orchids and twigs so that they stand approximately 2 feet above the top of the vase. Place the oncidium orchids in container and fill in and around with the twigs (keeping them a little more to the back). Fill container about half way with rocks while holding your stems mostly in place. Once you have your container have filled with rocks, adjust the flowers and twigs to your liking. Fill the container the rest of the way to secure.
Add your done! Now sit back and enjoy your beautiful flower arrangement.

Looking to create a fun holiday atmosphere in your home? Check out the decorating ideas below to help you make your house “boo-tiful” for the 2008 Halloween season.
~Color scheme is probably the most important in decorating for the holidays. Use various shades of yellows, oranges, and reds. Try adding a touch of black for an even more mysterious feel.
~To bring the spirit of Halloween to a floral arrangement, try hollowing out a pumpkin or gourd to use as a container for your flowers. Even try investing in a black cauldron for your arrangement for that spook-tacular effect!
~Using dried flowers and foliage can help create that fall mood. Also, try adding twigs or branches as accent pieces to your decor.
~Decorating with taper candles, especially in red, orange, or black, is a great way to create a Halloween atmosphere. Add an extra eerie ambience to any room by using wrought iron candelabras.
~Add beauty to your food! Try sprinkling rose petals in fall colors on your table, or place silk flower heads throughout your food trays. Serving your guests punch? Why not use floating flowers in the punch bowl as a unique and alluring holiday accent.
We received this wonderful photo from a customer at Afloral.com. It is of a graduation ceremony that took place in Hawaii. They put together wonderful flower arrangements as well as placing topiary balls and garlands down the aisles. The green and yellow combination is fresh, bright, and beautiful. If you look closely, everyone in the graduating class is wearing flower leis as well.
